The Gift of Salvation
Have you ever received a gift and were so surprised to receive it because you hadn’t done anything to deserve it? You hadn’t done anyone a favor, you hadn’t been extra good, it just kind of “fell” upon you?
That is similar to the promise of Salvation that God gives us through His son Jesus Christ.
Jesus gave up His throne to come to earth, be born from a virgin, live as a man, and to make the ultimate sacrifice by giving His life as a substitute for you and I; so that at the end of time, when we had to answer to the Father, we would be spared in God’s judgment.
Jesus died on the cross, rose three days later and was seen numerous times on earth before ascending to heaven. He is alive today.
The most awesome part of the miracle of Salvation is that Jesus paid the ransom for us because He loved us so much. Sometimes that is difficult for us to get our minds around: that someone could love us so much that they would give their life for us. Even though we were not perfect, not born yet, made lots of mistakes, etc. Jesus did this for you.
If you do not know Jesus as your personal Savior, really KNOW Him, you can. You can also receive the everlasting miracle of Salvation.
Don’t wait for a “perfect” time, or until you “get your act together” to come to God. Do it before it’s too late. God created you. He loves you just the way you are. He knows you better than you know yourself.
You can say the following prayer to invite Jesus into your heart and your life.
Dear Jesus, I come to you as a sinner. Come into my heart. I believe that you are the Son of God. I believe that you died on the cross and rose again to save me. Please forgive me of my sins, past, present and future. I make you my Lord and Savior. Lead me by your precious Holy Spirit. Amen.

God Loves You!
Romans 10: 9-10
9 That if thou shalth confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thy heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
